Woven by Words recently reviewed the Exergen TemporalScanner. She begins by recounting a time when she walked in on her husband checking their son’s temperature with an oral thermometer. “By my reaction, you’d have thought my son had grown a second head,” she writes. She discusses how gross and unsanitary it is to her, even though they are family.

The feature that she loves the most about her Exergen thermometer is the Smart Glow technology so it is not necessary to turn on a light to get a reading at night. She also loves the fact that it stores the last eight temperature readings so it is easy to gauge the progression of a fever. She concludes her review by writing, “We all know it’s just a matter of time before someone gets the first cold of the season! Be sure to have this Exergen thermometer in your medicine cabinet.”
