Sally from Mommy’s Review recently featured the Exergen Smart Glow TemporalScanner Thermometer.  Sally starts by detailing when she went to the ER with her one year old who had the flu.  Normally, she would take her children’s temperature with a rectal thermometer, but at the hospital she saw the doctors using a Temporal Thermometer and really liked the idea.  Next, the blogger explains that the Exergen Thermometer is widely used across the country and its accuracy has been proven in numerous clinical studies.

Sally notes the features of the Smart Glow TemporalScanner such as the illuminated display for easy temperature reading in any light, the ability to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius and a beep or silent mode.  In addition, the thermometer automatically retains the last eight temperature readings to track fever progressions.  The blogger then goes on to give instructions on how to use the thermometer as well as named her favorite features of the thermometer.  She loves that it’s easy to read/use and the light up display.  Furthermore, she loves that she can easily use the thermometer on herself.  Sally states “Who would have thought that a simple swipe across the forehead would give you an accurate temp reading? So cool.”
