Recently the author for Mommy Kat and Kids posted a detailed review of the Exergen TemporalScanner on her site.  She mentions her frustrations with hospitals recommending different options (ear and rectal), both of which upset her son and added to his discomfort.

She calls the TemporalScanner an “amazing revolution in home health solutions” and goes on to say, “the Exergen Temporal Scanner has been a lifesaver in our household and I will never fret about taking my kids’ temperatures again. Using the device is so quick and so accurate that I honestly can’t believe everyone in the world doesn’t use one.”
