First, the blogger explains how the thermometer works, which is by capturing the heat emitted from the forehead from the temporal artery. The blogger also details the new features of the updated Exergen Thermometer. This includes an illuminated display to read in any light as well as a beeping sound that can be turned on or off. Both of these features make it easy to take the temperature in a dark room on a sleeping child. The Exergen Thermometer also retains the last eight temperature reads and can also be switched between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

 

The blogger also notes that the Exergen Temporal Scanner is backed by over 50 clinical studies that prove its accuracy. The blogger is a mother of six and states that it was easy to take all of her children’s temperatures.
