Exergen Appoints Roberto Silva de Brito as New Sales Representative in Brazil

Watertown, MA – June 26, 2024 – Exergen Corporation, a global leader in infrared temperature measurement technologies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Roberto Silva de Brito as the new sales representative for Brazil. Roberto Silva de Brito will report directly to Benjamin Kalm, Exergen’s Commercial Director for Latin America and the Caribbean.  

Roberto Silva de Brito brings a wealth of experience to Exergen, having held several key positions in the healthcare sector. Most recently, he served as the National Sales Manager at Make Life Health from 2023 to 2024, strengthening his experience within the Public Sector in Brazil. Before that, he led the Sales to Public Sector initiative at CNPH, after being the National Sales Manager at Rio Quimica S.A. from 2016 to 2021. Prior to these roles, Roberto was the Commercial Supervisor at Labnews Industrial Ltda from 2013 to 2016 and a Trade Representative at Tecno4 Hospital Products Ltda from 2007 to 2012. His extensive background in sales management and his proactive approach to problem-solving make him a valuable addition to the Exergen team. 

In his new role, Roberto Silva de Brito will be responsible for overseeing the full range of Exergen’s innovative product line. This includes the TAT-5000S, designed for use in hospitals, the TAT-2000, which serves lite-duty applications in clinics and other healthcare facilities, and the TAT-2000C, a consumer thermometer. 

Roberto Silva de Brito will collaborate closely with CNPH, Exergen’s distributor in Brazil, to enhance market penetration and support customer needs across the region. Government accounts will be his main focus.  His extensive experience in the healthcare sector will be instrumental in driving Exergen’s growth and expanding its market share in Brazil.
